I’ve attended a fair few Registered Master Builders House of the Year and RMB Commercial Project Awards national gala evenings, but this year’s event was one of the best, if not the best, I have witnessed. The professionalism in the staging of the whole evening – the climax of several months of preparing and judging entries nationwide – was evident for all to see.
The slick process used to get through an ever increasing number of national awards meant the capacity crowd was always attentive right through to the presentation of the Supreme Award, something that hasn’t always been the case in the past. New chief executive David Edwards of principal sponsor PlaceMakers also pledged the company’s support to the competition for the next three years which will, no doubt, help ensure its continued success.
