Telehandlers are increasingly becoming more sought after by construction professionals.

These types of machines are able to do many jobs on site, from being an Elevated Work Platform (as pictured) or using forks or a bucket.

The advantage for construction companies is they can save time and money by using a telehandler rather than requiring multiple machines on site.

Telehandlers can be operated on site by anyone who holds a current forklift licence (F endorsement). However, APS Equipment recommends operators undergo thorough training on the machine before use.

There are a range of options, with new and used machines available for hire, long-term lease or purchase. Lifting heights typically range from 8 to 18 metres, and lifting capacities range from 3 to 7 ton.
