New Zealand’s best roofing projects and emerging talent have been recognised at the 2026 Roofing Association of New Zealand (RANZ) Roof of the Year Awards, with winners showcasing the craftsmanship, technical expertise and professionalism that continue to raise standards across the country’s roofing industry.

The awards, presented at the RANZ Awards Gala Dinner, sponsored by Colorsteel, were held during the RANZ Conference in Auckland in June. They celebrated excellence across residential and commercial roofing, while also recognising the next generation of roofing professionals.

This year’s entries were of an exceptionally high standard, highlighting the skill, experience and professionalism being demonstrated by RANZ members throughout the country.

From architecturally complex homes to large-scale commercial developments, the awards showcased the diversity and quality of roofing work being delivered across New Zealand.

To better reflect the breadth of commercial roofing projects being undertaken throughout the industry, the Commercial Roof of the Year Award was divided into two categories for the first time in 2026 — Light Commercial and Large Commercial.
